Presented by Michal Hofkin and Jack Lyons
Michal Hofkin joined UL as a Lead Regulatory Engineer in the Codes and Regulatory Services Department in May of 2021. He provides code expertise and standards-related guidance to regulatory authorities, manufacturers, designers, and contractors. Before joining UL, Michal enjoyed a twenty-three year career as an electrical inspector in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. He is a certified electrical inspector and plans examiner. Michal has been an instructor of electrical code and trade courses for over thirty-five years and is a former master electrician in four states.
Jack Lyons is the Northeast field representative for the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA). Mr. Lyons monitors State code adoption and other regulatory issues as they relate to the scope of products within NEMA. He also assists AHJ’s and product end users with applications and code requirements in eleven Northeast states and the District of Columbia. Mr. Lyons holds a BS degree in Occupational Education, AS degree in engineering science and is a Master Electrician in Massachusetts for over 40 years.
Seminar description
The seminar will be a one-day presentation of significant changes that effect the requirements for electrical installations in the 2023 National Electrical Code
Upon completion, attendees will understand significant changes and how to apply them.
